According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ting highlighted the importance of each match, particularly in terms of collecting FIFA ranking points to improve the team's global standing. He stated that every game is an opportunity to win and that the team aims to accumulate FIFA points to enhance their ranking. This sentiment was shared in a video released by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to the media. Ting noted that the team's preparations are progressing well, with players showing strong dedication after reuniting for the upcoming match. He expressed delight at seeing his teammates again after a long hiatus and emphasized the importance of representing the country, suggesting that the team is in high spirits and motivated to perform.
