Seri kembangan: A hardware shop near the Selangor Wholesale Market here was destroyed in a fire that broke out at about 11 pm tonight. Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said firefighters were battling a blaze that had spread to several nearby premises.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ashrul Riezal Asbar confirmed the incident, stating that additional fire engines were on the way. At the moment, there was no full report available, and no casualties had been reported. Firefighters were observed working to contain the blaze, with at least three fire engines deployed at the scene.

Several individuals believed to be owners and employees of nearby premises were also seen moving their goods as a precaution. Firefighting efforts were hampered by the presence of several gas cylinders inside the shop, raising fears of an explosion.
