Sepang: Malaysian rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli will be riding for MSI Racing Team and compete in the Moto3 class next season.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MSI Racing Team confirmed the development in a post on social media today, ahead of tomorrow’s Grand Prix (GP) Malaysia. Hakim Danish expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “Of course this news makes me happy and motivates me further for this weekend. I’m very excited to be part of Moto3 2026 with MSI. My dream has finally come true and I will give 100 per cent next year.”
The 18-year-old rider extended his gratitude to various individuals and organizations, including MSI, Jordi and Oscar, his sponsors, SIC Racing, ZK Racing Youth and Sports Ministry, Terengganu Inc, and his fans for their unwavering support throughout his racing career.
Hakim Danish will be teaming up with Japanese racer Ryusei Yamanaka, as his current teammate, Angel Piqueras, is set to move up to the Moto2 class next season.
Hakim Danish concluded this season’s Red Bull Rookies Cup in third place overall with 171 points, following the last race at Misano Circuit in September. He finished 65 points behind the overall champion, Brian Uriarte of Spain, while Indonesian racer Veda Pramata secured second place with 181 points.
