Guardian Malaysia Introduces Extensive Asian Derma Skincare Line

Shanghai: guardian Malaysia has officially launched the most extensive range of derma skincare products from China and Korea at its Asian Derma Concourse event held at Sunway Pyramid, solidifying its status as a leading destination for skincare expertise in the nation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the retail outlet revealed that the new range features prominent brands such as Winona, Pyunkang Yul, APLB, 377 Sightfuture, Proya, Chando, and HBN, many of which are available exclusively at guardian. There is growing consumer interest in Asian skincare products due to specific skin concerns related to the climate, particularly during the ongoing heatwave.

Each brand in the collection adheres to guardian's dermatological standards, offering specialized formulations for issues like sensitive skin, acne control, skin brightening, barrier repair, anti-ageing, and melanin control. The products are either formulated or developed in collaboration with dermatologists and are backed by clinical trials and ingredient efficacy testing in regional climates.

Priscilla Wu, managing director of guardian Malaysia, stated that the selected brands address main concerns such as eczema, acne, and hyperpigmentation. She emphasized that Malaysians can now access products that merge herbal and scientific strategies specifically crafted for Asian skin concerns.

Wu further elaborated on the suitability of these products for local consumers due to the unique structure, physiology, and pigmentation of Asian skin combined with the region's extreme climate. She highlighted that guardian Malaysia is pioneering in offering the widest range of Asian derma skincare products, featuring leading brands from China, Korea, and Japan.

In addition, guardian Malaysia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) to enhance professional expertise in dermatology. Wu mentioned that this collaboration will focus on professional training programs in dermatology, reinforcing guardian's role as a trusted wellness advisor with the support of over 100 derma expert pharmacists and 600 in-store derma advisors.

Customers are encouraged to use the AI-powered skin health assessment tool in conjunction with consultations from guardian's derma-certified personnel to receive personalized skin evaluations.
