Guardian Malaysia: Guardian Malaysia has officially launched its MYguardian Rewards programme, a fully digital, gamified loyalty platform designed to reward Malaysians for every purchase and elevate their shopping experience like never before.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Managing Director of Guardian Malaysia and Brunei, Priscilla Wu, emphasized that the MYguardian Rewards platform is not a typical loyalty initiative but an intuitive digital ecosystem built specifically for its customers. “It is designed for YOU, the customers of Guardian, and it offers immediate, personalised rewards and exclusive experiences with every scan and best of all, it’s FREE,” she stated in a press release.

Priscilla highlighted that since its soft launch in March 2025, the programme has had a roaring start, attracting 3 million members and becoming one of Malaysia’s most popular loyalty programmes, with over RM5 million in cash value already distributed through points. ‘This is more than just a loyalty programme, it’s our way of thanking Malaysians for their continued trust and support,’ she added.

To celebrate the official launch, Guardian hosted a special MYguardian Rewards Fiesta at TRX, which featured a hot air balloon experience, interactive booths, and a concert headlined by the legendary hip hop group KRU. The event was an unforgettable night for fans and members alike. Priscilla remarked, ‘MYguardian Rewards reflects our vision to build a healthier, more empowered community, while making every shopping experience feel like a celebration. The programme, accessible through the guardianMY mobile app, enables members to earn instant points and enjoy immediate rebates with every purchase, both online and in-store. Additional benefits include automatic contest entries, daily exclusive offers, and special birthday treats during their birthday month.

The statement also noted that students aged 21 and above can enjoy an extra 10% discount every Tuesday under the ‘Student Pass Tuesdays’ initiative by simply presenting a valid student ID. Furthermore, new members who sign up will receive 10x the points on their first purchase, along with a complimentary RM250 Guardian voucher.
