Kuala lumpur: Security at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 remained under control, despite people beginning to gather to welcome home the 23 Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) activists scheduled to arrive tonight. KLIA district police chief ACP Azman Shari’at said more than 30 personnel had been tasked with maintaining security at KLIA Terminal 1. ‘Crowds have started to gather at KLIA to welcome the activists,’ he said when met here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Azman reported that people began arriving at 7pm, and currently, over 100 are in the arrival hall, with more expected on the third floor to welcome the volunteers. A check found that designated sections had been arranged for the public, family members, and media personnel to ensure the activist’s smooth arrival. They are scheduled to arrive at about 10 pm.
