Kuala lumpur: A total of 10 Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) 2.0 vessels, including those carrying four Malaysians, are continuing their voyage to Gaza, according to Sumud Nusantara Command Centre (SNCC) director-general Datuk Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby: The vessels have been confirmed to be in Red Zone 2, approximately 100 nautical miles from the Gaza coast, and are expected to arrive within about nine hours if no disruptions occur.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby stated that based on the estimated distance to Gaza and a travelling speed of about 15 kilometres per hour, or around eight knots, the vessels are anticipated to reach their destination within the timeframe. He noted that these final hours are critical for the mission, highlighting the determination of the young Malaysians involved.
Sani Araby identified the vessels still en route to Gaza as Alcyone, Andros, Cabo Blanco, Don Juan, Elengi, Girolama, Kasr-i-Sadabad, Lina, Sirius, and Zefiro. He confirmed the safety of the four Malaysians participating in the mission: Hareez and Chin aboard Alcyone, Syed Amirul on Don Juan, and Noor Thanisah on Zefiro.
