GS E&C Invests $15 Million in Amogy to Propel Ammonia-Based Power Solutions

Amogy: Amogy, a provider of mature, scalable, and highly efficient ammonia-to-power solutions, today announced a $15 million strategic investment by GS Engineering and Construction (GS E and C), a leading South Korean engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm. A consortium of GS companies participated in the funding, including GS E and C, and affiliated venture investors XPLOR, and GS Futures.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this investment is part of Amogy’s effort to scale its innovative ammonia-based power generation projects. Over the past year, Amogy has successfully raised nearly $100 million, bringing the total funding since its inception to $315 million. The funds are aimed at accelerating the deployment of its carbon-free power solutions in key markets, further solidifying its position in the energy sector.

GS E and C’s investment signifies a strengthened partnership between the two companies, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing carbon-free distributed power technologies. The collaboration is expected to leverage GS E and C’s expertise in engineering and construction, alongside Amogy’s pioneering technology, to pave the way for sustainable energy solutions.
