Kuala lumpur: Great Eastern Takaful Berhad (GETB) today launched i-Great Mega Plus, a family takaful and protection plan to help Malaysians strengthen their financial position while building a meaningful legacy for future generations.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the i-Great Mega Plus, guided by the product proposition 'Where Protection Meets Legacy', offers a comprehensive solution that combines protection, savings, wealth accumulation, and legacy planning in a single plan. Great Eastern Takaful appointed representative Jasveen Marne emphasized the importance of financial planning that empowers individuals and families to build, preserve, and pass on a meaningful legacy.
'i-Great Mega Plus was specially developed to fulfil this aspiration by combining substantial protection, long-term wealth accumulation opportunities, and legacy planning features in a single solution,' Marne stated in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Great Eastern Takaful Head of Marketing Rashida Mior Ahmad Darwish highlighted the plan's option of waqf and conditional hibah to assist participants in wealth transfer planning and financial protection. Participants can dedicate a pre-agreed portion of their death benefit to appointed waqf institutions, nominate beneficiaries under conditional hibah, or both, contributing to charitable causes and benefiting future generations.
The i-Great Mega Plus plan offers a minimum basic coverage amount of RM300,000 and opportunities for long-term value building through professionally managed investment-linked funds. Additionally, the plan provides maturity benefits, loyalty benefits credited every five certificate years during the contribution payment term, and accidental death benefits of up to 300 per cent of the Basic Sum Covered.
In conjunction with the launch, Great Eastern Takaful will introduce the Emas Vaganza Campaign, which runs until Sept 30. Customers who sign up for any of the six selected plans during the campaign period stand a chance to receive 999.99 gold, symbolizing lasting security amid life's uncertainties. Participants may receive Habib Jewels gold bars weighing up to 10 grammes, enhancing their journey towards financial security.
