Kuala lumpur: Great Eastern Takaful Berhad (GETB) garnered multiple honours at the Employee Experience Awards Malaysia 2026 and Takaful Star Awards 2026, underscoring its strengths in talent development, workplace excellence, and takaful business performance.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the family takaful operator won four awards: Best Women Leadership Programme, Best HR Communication Strategy, Best Remote Learning Initiative, and Best Skilling Strategy at the Employee Experience Awards Malaysia 2026. These awards recognised the company's efforts in building an inclusive workplace, strengthening employee engagement, and enhancing workforce capabilities through continuous learning and leadership development initiatives.

GETB appointed representative Jasveen Kaur Marne said the recognition reflected the company's continued commitment to building a future-ready and people-centric organisation. "We empower women through intentional leadership pathways within an inclusive ecosystem and by continuously strengthening our communication strategies. Our belief that learning should be flexible and accessible enables our employees to grow anytime, anywhere," she said in a statement here today.

GETB also emerged among the winners at the Takaful Star Awards 2026 organised by the Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA), securing accolades across the individual and group business categories. Under the Family Takaful Individual Business category, the company received the Top Agency Manager (Direct) and Top Agency Manager (Group) awards. In the Family Takaful Group Business category, GETB clinched the Top Group Business Producer and Top Group Business Corporate Agency awards, in addition to the MTA MC Top Agent award under the Special Category.

Jasveen said that the awards also reflected the dedication of the company's takaful advisors, leaders, and employees in delivering protection solutions to Malaysians nationwide. "These awards are also a testament to the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of our takaful advisers, leaders, and employees who continue to go above and beyond in delivering meaningful protection to Malaysians," she also said. She further noted the company would continue to embrace innovation, strengthen capabilities, and create greater value for the communities it serves.
