Putrajaya:The government plans to examine the procurement and operational cost pressures faced by small enterprises in the wake of the global supply crisis as part of the formulation of Budget 2027, according to statements made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar, who also serves as the Finance Minister, highlighted that these issues were raised during a Budget 2027 engagement session with representatives from associations and Bumiputera contractor companies at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya.

Anwar emphasized that all views and suggestions presented during the session will be considered carefully in preparing the budget. He assured that the MADANI Government is committed to ensuring Budget 2027 will provide wider opportunities for people and businesses to enhance their capabilities and uphold national dignity.

The Budget 2027 is scheduled to be tabled on October 9, during the Third Meeting of the Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament, which begins on October 5.
