Government Enhances Measures for Stable Food Supply Amid Global Crisis

Kuala lumpur: The government is intensifying its efforts to ensure that the nation's food supply remains stable and adequate in the face of a global supply crisis, as announced by Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu. This commitment was highlighted following discussions at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamad Sabu emphasized that the government is committed to taking necessary actions to maintain and secure the country's food supply. Strategies include increasing food stockpiles, bolstering the national food sector, and diversifying supply sources. These efforts are part of a broader plan to reinforce the nation's food security.
