Subang Jaya: Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd (GMD), a wholly owned subsidiary of Gas Malaysia Berhad, has clarified that its gas facilities were not involved in the fire incident in Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya today. GMD, in a statement, however, said that it is evaluating the situation and its impact on its customers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, GMD stated that upon notification, their emergency response team was immediately deployed to the site to assess the situation. The company emphasized that the incident did not involve their gas facilities and reassured the public of their commitment to safety.

Gas Malaysia is working in collaboration with relevant authorities and the gas supplier to monitor developments closely. The company also assured regular communication with all shippers, including the end user, to provide updates as necessary.
