Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said Malaysia is managing a prolonged and evolving crisis requiring policy adjustments, cost management, assurance of basic needs and sustained economic momentum, with all government decisions and actions reflecting a swift, focused and data-driven approach.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir expressed confidence that Malaysia can navigate this period of uncertainty with structured and coordinated efforts among ministries, industry cooperation, and disciplined implementation. During a special briefing on the global supply crisis, which was televised live, he emphasized the importance of prudent adjustments by all parties to support the government's efforts to stretch available supplies.

He highlighted the government's initiatives, including campaigns promoting prudent spending, energy and electricity conservation, and efficient travel planning to reduce fuel usage and daily costs.
