Kuala lumpur: Senior Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz emphasized that the ongoing global supply crisis should be perceived as an opportunity to reinforce Malaysia's status as a secure investment hub. He highlighted Malaysia's consistent economic resilience and robust investment ecosystem as key factors in navigating various global challenges.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tengku Zafrul elaborated on the potential benefits of the crisis after a contribution handover ceremony under the Bakul Rahmah Programme, organized by the Yayasan Tengku Zafrul Aziz in collaboration with the Teratai state assemblyman's office. He noted that Malaysia's economic and investment frameworks have successfully weathered numerous crises, ensuring the maintenance of sound policy structures, which in turn boosts investor confidence.
During the event, 350 recipients from different communities, including senior citizens, single mothers, and low-income families, received assistance. Teratai assemblyman Yew Jia Haur and local community leaders were also present at the ceremony.
Tengku Zafrul further stressed the importance of Malaysia's positioning as a stable and safe investment destination. He pointed out that energy security is a significant factor for companies and investors when deciding where to invest. Malaysia's strength in energy stability, reliability, and resilience makes it an attractive option for investors seeking a secure environment for their ventures.
