Kuala lumpur: National para swimmer Abdul Halim Mohammad finished sixth in the men's 100-metre (m) breaststroke SB9 final at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games here today. The Sabahan, who won five gold medals at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games, clocked one minute 16.41 seconds (s) in the final at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Australia's Beau Matthews claimed the gold medal in 1:09.41s, while New Zealand's Joshua Willmer took silver with a time of 1:11.44s. Australia's Timothy Hodge clocked 1:12.74s to secure bronze.
The swimming and para swimming competitions at Glasgow 2026, held over six days, will conclude on Wednesday (July 29).
