Putrajaya:The Gig Workers Tribunal has made decisions on three disputes involving e-hailing drivers and GrabCar Sdn Bhd, resulting in compensations and account deactivations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the tribunal awarded RM2,000 in compensation to one driver for financial claims related to Saver bookings and incentives, while another driver’s account deactivation was upheld due to misconduct.

The tribunal identified violations by GrabCar's digital platform mechanisms and recommended improvements to safeguard gig workers' rights and passenger safety.
