KOTA BHARU: Fazrul Amir Md. Zaman, known as “Ghaddar Kelate,” aims to fully utilise his experience with the Harimau Malaya to assist Kelantan Darul Naim FC (KDN FC) in their first leg quarter-final match of the Malaysia Cup against Perak FC at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium tomorrow.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fazrul Amir said that the momentum from his recent international friendlies with the national team against Laos and India must be carried forward to ensure that KDN FC gain a comfortable advantage before the second leg. “It’s an indescribable experience to have been given the opportunity to play with the national team. I will use this experience as best as I can in the upcoming match against Perak FC,” he stated in a statement today.
Previously, Fazrul Amir became a focal point for Kelantan football fans when he was trusted to wear the national jersey during international matches, even though he played as a substitute. He emphasised that his team must be cautious and avoid making simple
mistakes, as the opposition will certainly have their own strategies.
“We need to fight to the fullest and try to gain an advantage so that the second-leg match will be easier and less stressful,” he added.
