Kampung cherok mokkan: Ganoderma lucidum (lingzhi)-based health food company Gano Excel Industries Sdn Bhd has grown its operations to comprise more than 100 dedicated greenhouses to ensure consistent large-scale production for the global market. Founder and group president Leow Soon Seng stated that each greenhouse has the capacity to house up to 30,000 ganoderma cultivation blocks.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, each greenhouse is equipped with a microclimate control system, ensuring uniform, clean, and high-quality ganoderma growth. All crops are cultivated using fully organic, chemical-free media through a high-temperature sterilisation process, while harvesting is carried out manually at the optimal stage of maturity. Leow mentioned that used cultivation blocks will be recycled into organic fertilisers in line with environmental sustainability principles.
As a leader in the ganoderma-based nutritional immunology industry, Gano Excel possesses international-standard infrastructure that complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards. Additionally, the company is certified under the Malaysia Organic (myOrganic) scheme. The company has also received international recognition, including the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) inspection, which strengthens confidence in the safety, quality, and purity of its products before they are marketed globally.
