Gagasan Nadi Unit Secures RM134.41 Mln Contract In Bandar Elmina

Kuala Lumpur: Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd’s unit Nadi Emery Sdn Bhd (NESB) has secured a RM134.41 million contract from Lembaga Perumahan Dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS) for the en-bloc purchase of 523 units of Rumah Idaman, under Project Rumah Idaman at Elmina 5, Bandar Elmina (Type E), Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nadi Emery is a 75 per cent-owned subsidiary of Nadi Cergas Development Sdn Bhd, which in turn is 70 per cent owned by Gagasan Nadi. The construction and property development company stated in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the project consists of design and build to the requirements for Skim Smart Sewa by LPHS. This project comprises 523 units of affordable residential housing with recreational facilities and amenities within the development area.

The company’s statement elaborated that this en-bloc purchase by LPHS is for the entire Elmina 5, spanning 1.76 hectares, which consists of 523 units of Rumah Idaman. Each unit will feature a built-up area of 1,000 square feet, including three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and will be equipped with ceiling fans, light fittings, a low kitchen cabinet, water heaters in both bathrooms, and two parking lots.

Construction of the project is slated to commence in the third quarter of 2025, with an expected completion in 2028. The project is also part of the total development by NESB at Bandar Elmina, which includes Elmina 4 of 3.59 hectares and Elmina 12 of 5.23 hectares.

Meanwhile, Gagasan Nadi group managing director Datuk Wan Azman Wan Kamal noted in a separate statement that the project will be the group’s second undertaking in City of Elmina, following the commencement of the 1,000-unit Idaman Amani affordable housing project in Elmina 4. He added that the houses will contribute significantly to the City of Elmina, a comprehensive mega township in Shah Alam, which features extensive residential, commercial, and industrial zones.

He further stated that the group’s property development segment is developing a total of 7,500 affordable homes in City of Elmina, Kwasa Damansara, and Bukit Jelutong, with a total gross development value of RM1.9 billion.
