Hilir Perak: The death toll in a tragic crash involving a Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) truck and a lorry carrying stones along Jalan Chikus-Sungai Lampam has risen to nine, with all casualties confirmed as FRU personnel.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hilir Perak police chief ACP Dr. Bakri Zainal Abidin confirmed that the deceased were FRU personnel from Unit 5 Ipoh. The bodies have been transported to Teluk Intan Hospital for post-mortem examinations. Authorities are currently in the process of confirming the identities of the victims.
