Four Houses, A Workshop, And Vehicles Destroyed In Klang Fire

Klang: Four houses, a workshop, and three vehicles were destroyed in a fire at Jalan Meru, Klang, this afternoon. Assistant Director of the Operations and Firefighting Division of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Selangor, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, confirmed that the incident did not result in any casualties.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the department received a call about the fire at 1.39 pm. In response, 15 officers and personnel from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), with assistance from BBP Klang Utara and BBP Bukit Jelutong, were dispatched to the scene.

The operations commander reported that the fire involved four houses and an abandoned workshop. Additionally, a Proton Waja car, a Perodua Myvi, and a Yamaha Ego motorcycle were affected. The estimated destruction is 90 percent, but fortunately, no casualties were reported. The fire was successfully controlled at 2.13 pm, and the actual cause of the fire is still under investigation.
