Sabah: Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman has called on all Malaysians to continue fostering harmonious relations among people of different races and religions to ensure the sustainability of unity in the state. He described the harmony enjoyed by Sabah's multi-ethnic and multi-religious society, living peacefully and interdependently, as the state's greatest strength that must be preserved.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tun Musa emphasized that the state's and nation's prosperity is contingent upon the people upholding tolerance and mutual respect. In his message for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 celebrations, he noted that this year's Christmas celebration is not merely festive but also carries important messages of love, peace, and hope, which are essential for building a united society.

Tun Musa also addressed the challenges faced throughout 2025, including global economic uncertainty, climate change, and the need to adapt to rapid technological developments. He praised the people of Sabah for their strength and resilience in facing these challenges.
He reiterated that inclusive economic development remains a key priority of the state government, with various initiatives being implemented to ensure equitable distribution of development benefits between urban and rural communities, aligning with the Sabah Maju Jaya aspirations. Looking ahead to 2026, Tun Musa urged the people to cultivate a renewed spirit and commitment to face the rapidly changing world with confidence.
