Bukit Mertajam: Former Seberang Jaya assemblyman Dr Radin Muhamad Amin Radin Hadi Munir passed away at the age of 71 due to cancer at Bukit Mertajam Hospital at 6:55 am today. The announcement of his death was made by his son-in-law, Danial Sulaiman, who is 38 years old.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Danial Sulaiman shared that the remains of Dr Radin Muhamad Amin will be transported to the family’s residence located in Taman Sutera Prima, Seberang Jaya. Following this, the body will be taken to Al Muhajirin Mosque in Bandar Seberang Jaya for the funeral prayers.

The burial ceremony is scheduled to take place at the mosque’s cemetery after the zuhur prayers. Dr Radin Muhamad Amin leaves behind a legacy through his family, including his wife, eight children, and 18 grandchildren.

He represented Barisan Nasional as the Seberang Jaya assemblyman for one term, serving from 1999 to 2004.
