Kuala lumpur: Former Chief Justice Tun Mohamed Eusoff Chin passed away today at the age of 91.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the matter was confirmed by former Malaysian Bar president Mohamad Ezri Abdul Wahab in a text message. He conveyed that a message posted by Mohamed Eusoff's daughter, Zuliana, stated her father passed away at 1 am today.
Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held at Masjid Al-Hidayah, Kelana Jaya. Following the prayers, he will be laid to rest at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Seksyen 9, Kota Damansara.
Mohamed Eusoff served as Malaysia's second Chief Justice from September 1994 to December 2000.
