Floods Disrupt Operations at 98 Health Facilities Across Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah.

PUTRAJAYA: A total of 98 health facilities in Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah have been affected by floods, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad. He reported that as of 9 am today, Kelantan saw 64 health facilities impacted, with 30 facilities remaining operational and 34 others having relocated their operations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in Terengganu, 30 health facilities faced disruptions due to the floods, with 17 still operational while 13 others have relocated. Meanwhile, in Kedah, four facilities were affected, with three having relocated and one still operational, as informed by the Health Minister during a press conference.

As of 5 pm, the Social Welfare Department’s Flood Info portal reported a total of 69,264 flood victims across the three states, involving 20,970 families. Kelantan is the hardest-hit state with 44,415 victims, followed by Terengganu with 18,085 victims, and Kedah with 6,775 victims.
