Firm Action Must Be Taken Over 3R Issues, Says Fahmi

Kuala lumpur: Firm action must be taken immediately by the authorities, including the Attorney General, over issues related to the 3R (religion, race, and royalty), Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said. He stated that this decision was reached during today's Cabinet meeting after several issues related to the 3R, as reported by the media and on social media, were raised.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized that the relevant authorities, including the Attorney General, must now take firm action. He noted that if there are any gaps in the law, they should be reviewed. This would involve amending existing laws or drafting new legislation to address 3R issues more comprehensively in the future.

Several Cabinet members were reported to have planned to raise issues of religious and racial provocation during today's Cabinet meeting. These members included Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister Steven Sim, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, and Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming.
