Kuala lumpur: The report on the investigation into the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire in Subang Jaya will be made public on Monday, said Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari. He said the report was completed yesterday as scheduled, and based on information received from the investigation committee, it was ready to be presented on that day.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Amirudin Shari stated, “It (the report) was ready yesterday, but we couldn’t present it as it was a public holiday, so it’s better to do it this Monday.” He emphasized that the report would be made public following its presentation to the Cabinet, adhering to the necessary procedural processes.
Amirudin shared these details with reporters during the launch of the Phase One Development of the Sekinchan Marine Produce Landing Complex. Earlier, a statement from the Selangor Menteri Besar’s Office confirmed that the technical investigation into the incident was completed as planned on June 26.
The fire and explosion on April 1 caused significant damage in the area, destroying 81 houses with structural damage exceeding 40 percent, partially destroying another 81, and affecting 57 houses without burning. However, 218 houses remained unaffected, including those in Kampung Tengah, Puchong.
