Reflecting on their early exit at the All England two weeks ago, Ee Wei said the defeat served as a reminder not to take any tournament lightly, even as world champions. She stressed that they accepted the result with an open mind, having given their all throughout the match. Ee Wei acknowl edged that experience should not be used as an excuse, and emphasized the need to learn from every match and tournament. She noted that the mixed doubles field is very open now, with champions emerging from Taiwan and many top players facing unexpected losses. Currently ranked world number four with Tang Jie, Ee Wei declared their commitment to keep working hard.
