Fewer Flood Evacuees in Perak as Numbers Decrease

Perak: The number of flood victims in Perak has reduced to seven people from three families this afternoon, down from 11 individuals from five families earlier today. The Perak State Disaster Management Secretariat (JPBN) confirmed that all the affected individuals have been relocated to Dewan Kampung Tengku Hussein in Manjoi since yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the victims are residents of Kampung Manjoi and Kampung Tengku Hussein who have been impacted by the flooding. The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting thunderstorms and rain later in the afternoon and evening across eight districts in Perak. These districts include Hilir Perak, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang, Muallim, and Perak Tengah.
