Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mixed on Friday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.37 am, the August 2026 contract remained unchanged from the previous day's close at 1,738.5. The September 2026 contract increased by one point to 1,718.5, while the December 2026 contract rose by two points to 1,719.0. In contrast, the March 2027 contract experienced a decrease of 2.5 points to 1,696.5.

Turnover for the futures contracts stood at 2,135, with open interest totaling 41,814 contracts. At 9.59 am, the FBM KLCI recorded a slight decrease, easing by 0.30 of a point to 1,736.41 compared to Thursday's close of 1,736.71.
