Kuala Lumpur:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Tuesday, reflecting gains in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 10.05 am, the October 2026 contract increased by 10.50 points, reaching 1,633.50. Meanwhile, the November 2026 contract climbed 8.0 points to 1,632.50, the December 2026 contract went up by 9.0 points to 1,639.0, and the March 2027 contract rose by 9.5 points to 1,625.50.

The turnover at this time was recorded at 1,798 lots, with open interest amounting to 42,282 contracts. Additionally, by 10.14 am, the FBM KLCI itself had risen by 5.31 points to 1,637.06, compared to the previous day's close of 1,631.75.
