Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Tuesday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close, the July 2025 contract fell by 10.0 points to 1,523.0. Simultaneously, the August 2025, September 2025, and December 2025 contracts each declined by 9.5 points to 1,521.0, 1,502.50, and 1,502.0, respectively.
The turnover saw a slight decrease, edging down to 4,585 lots from the previous day’s 4,593. However, open interest experienced an increase, rising to 40,452 contracts from 39,094 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself dropped by 12.11 points, or 0.79 percent, reaching 1,525.40, compared to Monday’s closing figure of 1,537.51.
