Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were higher in early trading. At 9.32 am, the March 2025 futures rose by 9.5 points to 1,485.0. The April 2025 futures increased by 11.0 points to 1,489.0, while the June 2025 futures improved by 10.0 points to 1,489.5. The September 2025 futures edged up by 10.5 points to 1,477.5.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the turnover for these futures stood at 3,050 lots, with open interest recorded at 42,388 contracts. At 9.50 am, the FBM KLCI itself strengthened by 13.25 points, reaching 1,498.08 from the previous day’s close of 1,484.83.
