Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Tuesday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the spot months of July 2025, September 2025, and December 2025 all increased by 2.0 points, reaching 1,534.50, 1,513.50, and 1,512.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the August 2025 contract gained 1.5 points to close at 1,531.50.
Turnover for the futures contracts narrowed to 5,171 lots from 6,651 on Monday, and open interest reduced to 37,565 contracts from 38,018 previously. Despite the rise in futures contracts, the FBM KLCI itself shed 7.40 points, or 0.48 per cent, to close at 1,530.14, compared to Monday’s close of 1,537.54.
