FBM KLCI Futures Decline in Early Trading on Bursa Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives experienced a downturn in early trading on Tuesday. At 9.35 am, the April 2025 futures contract decreased by 1.5 points to 1,520.50. Additionally, the May 2025 contract fell by 2.0 points to 1,517.0, while the June 2025 and September 2025 contracts dropped 4.0 points to 1,515.0 and 2.5 points to 1,501.0, respectively.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the market saw a turnover of 3,886 lots, with open interest amounting to 55,235 contracts. Despite the decline in futures, the underlying index FBM KLCI showed an increase of 2.56 points, reaching 1,524.15 at 9.48 am, compared to last Friday’s close of 1,521.59.
