Kuala Lumpur:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly higher on Monday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the October 2026 and November 2026 contracts each increased by 2.5 points to reach 1,610.0 and 1,611.5, respectively. The December 2026 contract saw a rise of 3.0 points, bringing it to 1,618.0.

Conversely, the March 2027 contract experienced a slight decline, dropping half a point to 1,600.0. Turnover for these contracts was recorded at 1,592 lots, with open interest amounting to 40,756 contracts.

By 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI index itself had risen by 5.46 points, reaching 1,613.91, compared to its previous close of 1,608.45 on Friday.
