FBM KLCI Futures Contracts See Gains Across the Board

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close of the trading session, the October 2025 contract added 2.0 points to finish at 1,614.5. Similarly, the November 2025 and March 2026 contracts increased by 1.5 points each, settling at 1,614.0 and 1,593.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the December 2025 contract climbed 2.5 points, reaching 1,612.5.

The turnover for the day fell to 6,611 lots compared to 8,540 lots on Tuesday. Additionally, open interest saw a decrease, dropping to 45,950 contracts from the previous 49,604 contracts.

In conjunction with these futures movements, the FBM KLCI itself edged up by 0.09 of-a-point, or 0.01 per cent, to close at 1,611.55, slightly higher than Tuesday’s close of 1,611.46.
