Accra:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives began the day on a lower note.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, by 9.30 am, the October 2026 contract had decreased by 6.5 points to 1,604.0. Similarly, the November 2026 and December 2026 contracts each fell by 5.5 points, reaching 1,606.0 and 1,612.0, respectively. Furthermore, the March 2027 note dropped by 7.5 points to 1,594.0.

The turnover at this time was recorded at 1,447 lots, with open interest amounting to 40,770 contracts. By 9.58 am, the FBM KLCI itself had eased slightly, losing 1.22 points to settle at 1,616.79, compared to Monday's closing at 1,618.01.
