Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Friday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.20 am, the September 2026 contract decreased by 4.5 points to 1,678.0, while the October 2026 contract dropped 2.0 points to 1,680.0. Additionally, the December 2026 contract saw a reduction of 4.5 points, settling at 1,683.0, and the March 2027 contract decreased by 1.5 points to 1,670.5.

The turnover at the time stood at 952 lots, with open interest amounting to 39,966 contracts. By 9.40 am, the FBM KLCI eased 8.28 points to 1,697.24, compared to the previous day's close of 1,705.52.
