Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Wednesday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the spot-month September 2025 contract and March 2026 saw an increase of 6.0 points each, closing at 1,554.5 and 1,529.0, respectively. October 2025 recorded a gain of 5.5 points to settle at 1,551.5, while December 2025 increased by 5.0 points to close at 1,546.0.
The trading turnover saw a decrease, dropping to 4,921 lots from the previous day’s 6,013 lots. Open interest also narrowed, falling to 40,249 contracts from the prior 40,974 contracts.
By 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself had climbed 1.82 points to reach 1,578.52, up from the previous close of 1,576.70.
