Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives concluded slightly lower, mirroring the weaker underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the October 2025 contract remained unchanged at 1,612.00. However, the November 2025, December 2025, and March 2026 contracts each dipped by half-a-point to 1,612.00, 1,610.50, and 1,592.50, respectively.
The turnover decreased to 7,386 lots from the previous 8,876 last Friday. Open interest also saw a decline, reducing to 49,043 contracts compared to the earlier figure of 50,199.
At the 5 pm close, the FBM KLCI itself fell by 7.06 points, or 0.44 percent, to settle at 1,615.19, down from last Friday’s closing of 1,622.25.
