FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher, Mirroring Cash Market Gains

Kuala Lumpur:The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives saw an increase on Tuesday, aligning with the performance of the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the October 2026, November 2026, and December 2026 contracts each rose by 5.5 points, reaching 1,628.50, 1,630, and 1,635.50, respectively. The March 2027 contract also experienced an uplift, climbing 4.5 points to 1,620.50.

The trading turnover improved to 6,701 lots compared to 5,722 on Monday, while open interest increased to 46,636 contracts from the previous 46,393. At the close of trading at 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 1.60 points to 1,633.35 from the previous day's close of 1,631.75.
