Fans Can Hop On Special Rapid KL Buses To Catch MotoGP Action At SIC

Kuala lumpur: Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus) will provide 82 buses to transport fans to catch the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) action at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from Oct 24-26. It said the special bus service, aimed at tackling congestion issues, would operate from three main locations – the Pasar Seni Bus Hub, the KLCC Bus Station and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2 Bus Hub – to facilitate spectators heading towards the SIC.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Pasar Seni Bus Hub will provide connection services to the Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) line and the Kajang Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line, while the KLCC Bus Station will provide connection to the Kelana Jaya LRT line. The KLIA2 Bus Hub, meanwhile, will specifically provide connectivity to the ERL Express service. Tickets can be purchased online via shop.myrapid.com.my from tomorrow or directly from selected locations.

The fares for the KLCC and Pasar Seni routes are fixed at RM20 (one way) and RM35 (return trip), while the fare is RM12 one way for KLIA2. To facilitate the movement of spectators at the race venue, Rapid KL is also providing free shuttle service around SIC throughout the three days.
