Kuala lumpur: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has officially informed the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) about the resignation of all members of its Executive Committee (Exco), which took effect yesterday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, FAM made the announcement through a post on its official Facebook page. The notifications were sent by FAM Secretary-General Datuk Noor Azman Rahman to FIFA Secretary-General Mattias Grafstrom and AFC Secretary-General Datuk Seri Windsor John, formally communicating the resignations.
The resignation involved the entire lineup of FAM Exco members for the 2025-2029 term, who collectively and voluntarily stepped down from their roles with immediate effect. Former acting FAM President Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi explained that the decision was made unanimously and was based on their responsibility toward the organisation, without any influence from personal interests or positions.
