Fahmi Observes NADI Programmes For Batu Pahat Community

Batu pahat: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today conducted a working visit to the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) in Taman Nira here to observe the implementation of programmes at the centre together with the local community.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi observed workshop sessions such as the AI Workshop and Gemini (Simple Google AI Skills for Everyday Work), which were attended by members of the local community. The programme provided participants with basic and practical exposure to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) through Google Gemini and Google Workspace.

"The use of AI will facilitate daily tasks, including email writing, preparation of work drafts, idea generation and faster, more efficient communication. The session also emphasised the use of more precise prompts to enable participants to utilise AI more effectively," the post on his Facebook page noted.

"In addition, the health screening initiative at the NADI centre here also utilises digital technology - AirDoc - which is being implemented for the local community to expand access to health screenings that are easy, fast and comprehensive through a digital approach," the post said.

The post added that NADI, under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, remains committed to strengthening the role of the centre as an inclusive digital community hub, with the continued support of the Communications Minister in ensuring that NADI remains relevant as a platform that has a direct impact on the well-being of the people.
