Factory Manager, Engineers Among 94 Foreign Workers Arrested In Shah Alam Raid

Shah alam: A factory manager and 11 engineers were among 94 foreign workers arrested by the Immigration Department during a raid at a factory here yesterday under Ops Mahir. Selangor Immigration director Khairrul Aminus Kamaruddin stated that during the raid at around 11.30 am, the manager and engineers attempted to hide and flee to avoid inspection, along with more than 300 other foreign workers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the operation, involving 26 immigration officers, was conducted following public reports regarding the presence of foreign workers at the factory since last year.
