Singapore: Evercore, a global independent investment banking advisory firm, has appointed Ben Hart as senior managing director and head of its Asia Private Capital Advisory (PCA) division. Based in Singapore, Hart will oversee Evercore PCA's activities across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and work closely with the global PCA team to expand the firm's secondaries advisory and broader private markets capabilities.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Evercore Asia Chairman Keith Magnus expressed satisfaction with Hart's appointment, highlighting the strategic importance of enhancing the firm's private capital advisory services in the APAC region. Magnus noted that Hart's extensive relationships and experience in Asia's private markets ecosystem would be instrumental in further developing Evercore's franchise in a methodical manner.

Hart, enthusiastic about his new role, emphasized his eagerness to contribute to Evercore's ongoing success in a rapidly growing private market sector, particularly in the area of secondary opportunities. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder, Hart brings over 20 years of experience in private markets, covering fundraising, institutional investor relations, capital formation, and business development across APAC.

Prior to joining Evercore, Hart was a partner and head of investor relations (Asia) at Adams Street Partners, where he led business development and client service initiatives across institutional and private wealth channels.
