Kuala lumpur: The placement results for 2,248 contract medical officers under Grade UD10, who have been offered permanent appointments via the ePlacement system, are now accessible.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad announced that candidates wishing to appeal their placement can do so by completing a Google Form provided within the ePlacement announcement. The appeal period is set from July 8 at 10 am to July 14 at 5 pm, with only appeals submitted with complete documentation during this timeframe being considered by the Placement and Transfer Appeals Committee (JKPP). Appeals submitted outside this period will not be considered to ensure timely decisions that do not impact the duty reporting timeline at the assigned placements.
Dr Dzulkefly further stated that appeal results would be announced on August 19, with affected medical officers able to check outcomes through the same system. He emphasized that by integrating MADANI values such as Sustainability, Well-being, and Creativity, the Health Ministry aims to strengthen Malaysia’s public health system to meet new realities and future challenges.
Additionally, Dr Dzulkefly addressed a proposal by the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services (CUEPACS) regarding the implementation of digital medical certificates (MCs) to curb the misuse of fake MCs among civil servants, noting that the ministry is currently reviewing the matter.
