Ensure No Youth in KETENGAH Area Misses Out on Government Opportunities: PM

Putrajaya: The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH) has been urged by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to ensure that no young individuals in its jurisdiction are left out from the opportunities provided by both state and federal governments.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this directive was emphasized during a courtesy call by KETENGAH chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Said at the Prime Minister’s office in Putrajaya. The meeting focused on the strategic direction of the board to ensure economic and social advancement within the KETENGAH region.

In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of ensuring access to services, facilities, initiatives, and job opportunities, particularly in rural areas. This emphasis comes in an era of digitalisation, where the rapid pace of economic and social change is aligning with international trends.

KETENGAH operates as an agency under the Rural and Regional Development Ministry, tasked with spearheading economic and social development in the Dungun, Kemaman, and Hulu Terengganu districts.
